How are you all?
Like always, the period of time between this post and my last was far too long.
I think the last time i posted an entry was about my japanese exchange partner coming. It was one of the most challenging thing I've ever had to do. The problem was that her english wasn't very good and neither is my japanese. We managed to communicate though, and in the end we had a pretty good time. But those ten days were very intensive and undeniably difficult.
But I'm leaving for Tokyo next Friday and I can't tell you how excited I am : ) Our plane leaves at 9 in the evening though, so that means I still have to go to school that day : (

My mum is leaving for England the day after I leave for Japan. She's visiting her dad, who has been suffering from colonic cancer now for over five years. He's survived much longer than the statistics say you should and now everyone seems to think he's come to the end, which is difficult to grasp. I'm so worried that something will happen while I'm away, but I can't change anything.

It's good to write down things like that. It makes it more real in a way,

On a lighter note I went to the cinema with a friend on Friday and we saw a a film called LOL* - Laughing Out Loud. It was a french film dubbed in German which was interesting. I haven't enjoyed a film like it for ages. It was easy to watch and contained a gorgeous young french boy, which make it watchable on an ENTIRELY different level ; )
I think I'm in love with him. Direct your eyes under the cut to glimpse a piece of true eye candy : )

Also how brilliant is it that Merlin and Gossip Girl have started again?
Our whole family watched Merlin together and I love it! We laugh a lot of the time and make jokes, there's just something about that show that puts you in a good mood. : P

And the new season of Gossip Girl is just fueling my love for Chuck Bass.

I'll definitely try and write something before I go away.

I am so annoyed at myself for not posting anything for such a long time. I still read all your entries, even if I never comment. I doubt anyone really has any more real interest in this dead journal, and I can't blame them.

Partly I haven't written out of laziness, partly because I can't think of anything to say and partly because I can't even remember how to write in here without sounding stupid.

So much has happened since I last posted an entry which was at the end of May.
I finished school, with an ok report. It's not as good as it could have been but it's definitely not bad.
Lately I've been thinking about October a lot, when I'll be in Japan for the whole month, which I'm sure I've already mentioned countless times. I've been waiting for this for three years, so I'm really excited about going. Really excited and really nervous.

Summer holidays basically means doing nothing, sleeping late etc, which is a nice change from the stressful last weeks I had at school. We were cramming exams up until the last minute.

I've seen HP 6 twice now. The first time I saw it I really liked it. There's so much missing from the book that I wonder how they're going to do Deathly Hallows, but even so it was a good laugh and in general it was entertaining and better by far than what I expected. When I saw it the second time the seat I was sitting on was really uncomfortable and it seemed to drag a bit. But that was probably because I'd already seen it once.

About two weekends ago (I can't really remember) I went away to this little village in the middle of nowhere with a friend. We stayed in this tiny creaky old house infested with massive moths. We watched Sweeney Todd one night which was so much fun. We were watching it in English so I had to pause every few minutes and translate into German, more hilarity ensued.
On the last day we went for a walk around the fields there and it was gorgeous. I took quite a few pictures but I've only got two up on dA. Maybe (hopefully) I'll add some more later.

I've made some graphics and will upload them in due course. I want to make some icons again too. And take more photographs.
Hopefully this will also happen in due course ( :

Hello my dears, I hope you are all well. : )
Everything has sort of calmed down here, but it's about to get really hectic again because we're at the end of the school year. I've got another 5 or 6 exams to write and have got an indian girl coming to stay with us in June. I'm taking part on (another) exchange to India, which I'm really excited about. I'll be going there in January. My parents are really encouraging when it comes to opportunities like this.

I actually cannot believe it is practically June already, it's obscene. I can remember Christmas so well. It just doesn't seem real.
I think this summer is going to be really quiet except for the exchange students and next school year's going to be so exciting. I'm going to Tokyo and New Delhi??!!

I have been working really hard lately to get back into the swing of graphics. Since I was in hospital in December I haven't really posted anything. I am going to try and make an icon batch soon and the next step after that is a new layout for Subtle Lights, which has sort of died.

I'm sorry I'm such a terrible commenter but I do always read your posts. : )

I got back from a week in England on Wednesday. I miss it already. It was lovely.
I was thinking about what would have happened if we had stayed there and never moved here. You know, what kind of people we would be. And part of me (actually almost all of me) wishes I could have just stayed there this time and hid in a cupboard so I could miss my plane.

I had a lovely time, really. I ate so much chocolate. I had a complete binge one night- I ate a lot of Cadbury Cream Eggs (felt better for it though). I stayed with my aunt, who has a gorgeous cat called History. I woke up with him in my bed every morning. I had Cheerios for breakfast whilst watching Sky news in a lovely pink kitchen..

Back to school Monday and dreading it (who wouldn't?). Love you all.

... far too long. Like so often before. Real life just took over and I didn't find the time to post anything. And then my computer broke. But it's all fixed now. I'm trying to get back into graphics as well. I haven't done anything for ages because I was just so uninspired.

I can't get over that it's nearly April. It's nearly easter. Wasn't Christmas yesterday? I have latin test at school and then a big presentation- after that it'll be the easter holidays and we're going to England again. I can't wait.

I haven't actually got that much news. It's wet and cold here. Bleh.

OH! I'm so excited- I haven't told you guys yet. A week or so ago my name went on the list for the Japan exchange! It's this year in October/November and I'll be gone for a month. Two weeks in Tokyo and two weeks traveling around Japan. I have to start seriously saving up money!

I saw Twilight for the second time last week as it came out in Germany. The screen was much bigger than in the cinema in England, which was NICE. IT WAS AMAZING.

So, the holidays are over soon and on Monday I have to return to reality. No more getting up at 11 o' clock every day and being lazy. I've actually got three exams next week (Chemistry, Politics & Economics and Geography), so I should be studying really. These holidays have been strange. Because England was something that wasn't really meant to happen- but it did, and I'm so happy it did. Being there reminded me though that we're not moving back. At least not until we've finished our education. Eff education, I just want to go back! :P

I'm drinking so much camomile tea at the moment. (Hee, that's random.)

Oh, and I sneakily added/watched you all on Deviant Art. I actually made that account ages ago, but never used it.
I'll upload my photos there. I'm no where near as good as you guys, though!

Oh and btw, is it as cold as it is here with you guys? It's bloody freezing here!

Hello my dears!
I hope your Christmas was lovely and you got what you wished for!
I had a lovely Christmas. It was so different to be back in England with everyone.

Got woken up at around 6:45 by my nine year old cousin opening the bedroom door going: 'Alright, time to get up now!'
We did our stockings and then got dressed and ready to go to church. We had Christmas lunch with crackers! Haven't done crackers for years.

I got this amazing black dress in England that I wore. All ruffly and bubbly. It's wicked.

Had an AMAZING spread of presents as well:

We watched Little Britain: USA in the evening. It's outrageous. But funny.

Oh and alsfhiwrh akshjdlhaosidzhaszfoer: FINALLY saw Twilight on Boxing Day.
It was amazing. It was like I thought it would be. (Tbh, I'd already made my mind up about loving it, even if it turned out rubbish). It was cheesy/corny/cringey at places (HELLO SPARKLE!), but the photography and the atmosphere throughout the whole film was perfect. My heart was racing half the time with anticipation. The soundtrack is incredible (which I brought the day after) -when Full Moon came on I instantly fell in love with it (which, oh coincidence, I am listening to right now). The vamp entrance scene was wicked. I could have just watched that scene over and over again and been satisfied. And then finally: HELLO EDWARD. So wicked it almost hurts.
Peter Facinelli was perfect as Carlisle and all the others were excellent as well, especially Alice.
'I'm designed to kill.' scene was incredible.
The bedroom kissing scene was EEEEEEEEEEEEE. Can't think of an adjective. It was done perfectly.
But one of my favourite scenes by far was the baseball scene. 'Supermassive Black Hole' in the background= Amazing.
The one thing I would say is that in the film it was harder to portray Edward and Bella's love. I mean, the build up was shorter and for people who haven't read the book, maybe it isn't as apparent if that makes sense?

But seriously, it was perfect. Everything I expected to be and better. Going to see it here again when it comes out.
That's the end of my Twilight rant. I know the books are corny and the writing isn't exactly brilliant, but I can't help it. I LOVE IT.

And I also finally watched The Dark Knight and I loved it.

SO, the main thing I suppose is that it's New Years Eve today. I can't get over how fast this year has passed.

I'm sorry I was so sad/moany in the last couple of entries. I was feeling really bad. I feel better now, and school's nearly finished as well. I have got my last exam tomorrow (Geography) I have to stay over night at hospital tomorrow because they want to do some more tests and after that I have one more day of school and then FREEDOM!

We decided to go to England for Christmas as well, darlings! You cannot believe how my heart jumped when I found out. I'm so happy. We're driving Saturday morning. AGH. Suddenly wonderful things happen.

I had another migraine on Saturday and spent about 12 hours in my room, in the dark, asleep.
And since then I have been feeling constantly dizzy/weak. I mean I'm still having difficulty reading. (And being on my computer probably isn't helping.)

It's kind of like what comes before the aura of a migraine starts, so I feel like I'm going to have another one any second now. I wish I would have one to be honest, then it would be over.

I went to the doctors yesterday and she gave me this ugly-tasting herbal medicine, that hasn't really helped.

I've got a physics exam on Thursday and have not been able to learn at all. I'm petrified.

New layout, so soon... I needed something light and happy.

Hullo, my loves!
It been a while since I last posted. I had my piano exam on the 15th and though I was shakey and nervous, I still managed to pass, so YAY!

Next, I would like to proclaim my love to kopfoderzahl , who has saved me. Hopefully, hopefully, hopefully I will be watching Twilight next weekend, in GERMANY. I now know I live about 1 1/2 hours away from a theatre that is showing Twilight early (in english!!).

I hope and wish with all my heart that this will work out and that next weekend I'll finally be able to watch it, a whole two months earlier than when I expected to see it. *finger crossing*

I had a terrible migraine today and was in bed most of the day. I don't know, but I feel I've been getting them a lot recently. I feel better now though, just a slight headache. I haven't been able to learn properly for ANOTHER Japanese test I'm writing tomorrow, but I think I'll be ok.

Hello guys!

This week was so busy. It was unbelievably stressy and I am SO TIRED.
It's Friday though, at last. :)

It was hard to miss the US elections here, even though I hardly watched/read the news this week.
I bet you're all so glad it's over. :)

Had a Japanese test today which went alright I think. It's one of the few subjects I still kind of enjoy at school. After the test we were watched this film called Shogun. It was in German, mixed with little bits of Japanese. But the fact that the film was originally in English, made it really funny and weird to watch. I admit I was laughing out loud a lot. Especially because it was corny. Kind of still entertaining though. :P

In less than a year I'll probably be going there! YES.

Why does my sister hate me at the moment? We're really not getting on, and I don't know why. Maybe it's just me. Because I'm so tense and stressed at the moment.

I am so looking forward to going to sleep tonight...

Hey, everyone (who still looks at this journal)!!

I'm here! I'm sorry I keep disappearing. It was school combined with laziness, but now I'm on autumn holidays, so I have tons of time! My sister is in Japan, and I miss her. However we did phone her today and she told me about an awesome t-shirt she wants to get fo me from Shibuya, so I feel slightly better! It sounds like she's having tons of fun and I'm so jealous!

I also got the most GORGEOUS coat on Saturday from H&M. It is. Truly. Gorgeous. Navy blue with big gold buttons-- I wasn't sure at first but now when I see it all I feel is: LOVE.

I also spent the entire room clearing up my room BIG TIME. I'm talking going through my whole cupboard and sorting out all my paperwork etc. It took FOREVER, but I'm so glad I did it now.

I want to update Subtle Lights too, but that wll probs be sometime next week.
